I am always amazed at how much children love to cook. The joy of creating, tasting, testing and, of course, tasting their creations brings so much joy and enthusiasm.
My girls can't get enough of Junior Masterchef at the moment and the highlight to the holidays so far had to be the arrival of 2 new aprons for them to use in the kitchen.
A humble choclate cake became the centre for design in our kitchen. Armed with stick on icing shapes and gel icing pens, the children delighted in decorating the cake for Daddy.
There was certainly a great deal of tasting as we went, but in the end the girls worked for over 30 minutes making something they were proud to serve for friends and family. Not a single piece was left ;)
